MDA Humanitarian Award

The MDA Humanitarian Award may be presented annually to one person who has demonstrated the highest level of unselfish devotion to dental service. This person must have donated their time to provide humanitarian dental programs to the needy people of Mississippi, the United States or developing countries. The Humanitarian award will be open to any person actively involved in the dental profession.

Nominee consideration will be based on involvement in:

• Community service
• Proactive involvement in promoting good oral health to the public
• Voluntary involvement in donated dental services to needy people in both Mississippi and other areas of the country, including, but not limited to under served countries
