The Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA)
SCDA promotes oral health and treatment options for people with special needs. The organization is comprised of members from three component groups whose disciplines and areas of interest overlap: the American Associating of Hospital Dentists (AAHD), the Academy of Dentistry for Personal with Disabilities (ADPD) and the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry (ASGD).
The National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH)
The NFDH is committed, through collaboration, to arranging comprehensive dental treatment and ling-term preventive services to those whop are needy. Disabled, elderly or medically compromised through a national network of direct DDS service programs.

The AADMD brings physicians and dentists together to address the health needs of people with “neurodevelopment disorders and /or intellectual disabilities. The Academy was organized to provide a forum for physicians and dentists who are involved in Developmental Medicine and Dentistry. Our mission is to foster excellence in clinical care of people with intellectual disabilities, bring curriculum development in this field to medical schools, post-graduate training programs and practicing physician continuing education and introduce current research practices to a group that have been neglected for many years.
