MDA Relief Fund

The purpose of the MDA Relief Fund is to provide financial assistance to dentists and their dependents who, because of accidental injury, a medical condition or advanced age, are not self-supporting.  It also provides support to MS dentists that have a home or practice affected by a natural disaster.   Our relief funds have been utilized in the past few years and Hurricane Katrina left our disaster assistance fund in need of replenishing.  Our Mississippi dentists have benefited from these programs and we want it to continue to be a viable resource to those who may need assistance. 

Your MDA Council on Supportive Services review (following the ADA rules) submitted Relief Funds or Disaster Assistance applications and make determinations of grant amounts.  They serve as liaison to the American Dental Association Commission on Relief and Disaster Activities. 

We are asking that all checks be made payable to the MDA Relief Fund and mailed to the following address:
