How to Register a CE Program for Validation
The Mississippi Dental Association provides validation for Continuing Education programs in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners.
Currently the following three options are available for validation approval.
Live Speaker Presentations
Fees to Register Clinical* course
$150.00 .5 – 4 hours
$250.00 5 – 8 hours
*Materials presented must directly relate to the practice of dentistry or dental hygiene.
Fees to validate Practice Management Course
$100.00 .5 – 4 hours
$200.00 5 – 8 hours

- A Continuing Education (CE) Course Validation Request form should be completed and submitted to the Mississippi Dental Association at least two weeks prior to presentation to qualify for validation through the Mississippi Dental Association.
- Payment should be submitted by check for the appropriate registration fee.
- Please note that course promotional materials should list that the course is registered and validated by the Mississippi Dental Association.
- Sponsor must maintain records of program including attendees for a minimum of 3 years from date of presentation.

- Approval for Independent Studies is good for a 1 year time period.
- Payment by check to the Mississippi Dental Association in the appropriate registration fee with study materials must be submitted in full to the MDA 30 days prior to being made available for participation.
- Materials must include a written post study examination that is reviewed by sponsor of the course prior to providing participants with CE credit validation form.
- Sponsor must maintain records, including copy of post study examination for a minimum of 3 years from date of exam.
- Please note that course promotional materials should list that the course is registered and validated by the Mississippi Dental Association.

Validation Form Webinars
Please note that it is the program provider's responsibility to provide proof of attendance or CE verification cards to all program attendees. CE verification forms that you may copy and use for this purpose will also be provided by the Mississippi Dental Association.

The MDA Office has several options for meeting room space rental for CE programs and or lunch and learn programs held during the work week.
